John Fordy is proud of his Devon background and this is clear from his design choice. It is simple but highly effective. Surfing Life began in 1992 with shops in Plymouth and Newquay. He strategically placed the Devon flag on the side pocket. This along with two verti- cal stripes on each side of the short in the local colours being white and green on a black background creates a simple, classic and timeless board short.

• Diamond Dobby has been used for it's quick drying and anti-rash properties.
